Weekly, Mouse leaves the bookstore and goes visit local spots. Sometimes they are local businesses and other times they’re local historic locations.
Either way, we let Mouse explore and experience different spots. He arrives at the location in his travel backpack and then we connect his leash and allow him to explore.
Mouse’s first adventure was to Fort Hunter. Fort Hunter is located off of the Susquehanna River and is a beautiful place to visit. Over the course of its history since it was first settled in 1725, Fort Hunter has been a sawmill, fort, village, is now a historic landmark.
