Mouse visited a portion of the Army Heritage Center. It’s located in Carlisle, PA. It was founded in 1999 with the mission being:

To support the development and expansion of the U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center (USAHEC), and its programs, and to sustain and enhance the Center’s and the Foundation’s ability to inform and educate the American public on contributions by Soldiers and the U.S. Army to our nation’s history.

Army Heritage Center

The 56-acre campus has a trail and education center. We walked the first part of the trail. The trail is unique because it has structures or pieces that relate to different war periods. There are different places you can start walking, so we decided to start with the WWI trenches. Mouse was tiny then, so we decided to only short walk.

We kept walking through the trenches. Grass distracted Mouse.

There was so much history to read about.

Mouse’s first visit to the Army Heritage Center went well and we knew we’d definitely return.
